We also have an exciting lineup of upcoming events, including an exhibition opening reception for Notes on Solidarity: Tricontinentalism in Print in the James Gallery, a launch event celebrating a special issue of ARTMargins on “Art, Institutions, and internationalism:1945-1973,” and a lecture on the “Poetics of Participation” by acclaimed poet Cedar Sigo, which are all free and open to the public at the Graduate Center, CUNY. Call for Participants: Institutional Apparatuses, or, the Museum as Form Work Group
We are currently seeking participants to take part in a new 7-week participatory working group Institutional Apparatuses, or, the Museum as Form, which will meet bi-monthly to read and discuss topics exploring the sites and structures within which museums reflexively grapple with their ethical obligations. Space is limited and priority will be given to those who can commit to being part of the conversation over the course of the semester.Click here to learn more about this working group and how to join.
