NTERNSHIPS – Earth Celebrations-Engaging Communities to Generate Ecological & Social Change through the Arts

Please email back with your interests, skills (i.e.: social media, website editing(wordpress), photoshop/graphic design, community outreach, press/publicity, arts/theater production, environmental research/activism etc. and your time availability each week. Generally interns commit to 4 hours per week and volunteers join for specific events, workshops and actions.

Wednesday, September 18 @ 7pm – Join Earth Celebrations’ Ecological City: Procession for Climate Solutions Slideshow for LUNGS Harvest Festival @ 6th Street Avenue B Garden.

Friday, September 20 @ 12pm – Join Earth Celebrations for Climate Strike @ Foley Square (111 Worth Street) across from sour house -near statue- with giant puppets.

 1:30pm march to Battery Park for Rally 3pm with speakers including Greta Thunberg.  

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED– to wear EC’s spectacular climate solutions costumes and help with visuals (needed until 3pm). Contact Earth Celebrations: mail@earthcelebrations.com

Saturday, September 21 @ 12pm – March to Save East River Park – Meet @Tompkins Square Park / 1:30pm Rally at Labyrinth-East River Park near Houston Street.
