Please join on Friday, November 8 for a seminar with Shana Agid, Associate Professor of Art, Media, and Communication at Parsons the New School for Design.

Shana is an artist/designer, teacher, and activist whose work focuses on relationships of power and difference in visual, social, and political cultures.
Their collaborative design practice focuses on exploring possibilities for self-determined services and campaigns through teaching and design research. Their writing on design, politics, and pedagogy has been published in Design and Culture, Design Philosophy Papers, Lateral: The Journal of the Cultural Studies Association, Design Studies, CoDesign, and other venues. Shana’s artist’s books and prints have been shown at The New York Center for Book Arts, Southern Exposure, the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, the Hamilton Wood Type Museum, and other venues, and is in collections at the Walker Art Center, New York Public Library, and the Library of Congress, among others.
