Calling all Mentors & Mentees for Writing Works!
Limited Spots for Scholarship Workshop THIS Wednesday

MENTOR Registration

For more than 20 years, Girls Write Now has been a nationally award-winning leader in arts education and New York’s first and only writing and mentoring organization for girls.

“Writing Works” is Girls Write Now’s college and career readiness programmatching young women and gender nonconforming youth with professionals across industries as their “mentors for the day.” Mentees get support with college essays, scholarships, internships, and professional writing across a broad range of industries, including behind-the-scenes experiences with HBO, Penguin Random House, the Royal Bank of Canada, Fresh beauty, and many more.

Writing Works is less intensive and just as dynamic as the year-long program, with the advantage that both mentors and mentees can sign up for individual events that fit their schedules.

Register for the exciting 2019-2020 Writing Works program, starting with our Scholarship Workshop THIS Wednesday, November 20th, 4-6:30 PM at Girls Write Now’s headquarters, 247 West 37th Street, on the 10th Floor.
