Interns Needed: Millenium TV

Millennium TV has been in business since 2013 and right now the current content is of overseas such as Asia, Europe and Africa and they have partnered with the station to provide US content. They are in the process of producing shows and submitting content to FCC for approval etc. They also have a 24 hour news channel that is ready to go live once they have 8 hours
of news shows to provide. They have several networks attached to them such as Roku, Verizon, AppleTV, Amazon Prime, Satellite, cablevison and many more. Right now they are in need of a film crew and editors and they are in need of journalists and news anchors. They do have some community news shows that will start airing in December as well  but they are in need of news content.

Camera operators are responsible for capturing and recording all aspects of a scene for film or television. They use principles of lighting,
staging, focusing and filtering to achieve a specific visual look for broadcast television or motion picture

Editors will Edit film until it meets director’s specifications. Watch scenes and determine which will end up on cutting room floor. Rearrange
scenes. Work with and manipulate raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.

A news anchor, presents stories on radio and television news broadcasts. Working for television out of our station in The Bronx, NY, they introduce
reporters’ videotaped and live reports, analyze and select stories, and interview guests. They will need excellent verbal and written skills, ability to engage audiences and interact with reporters and guests, persistence, physical stamina, objectivity, improvisation, teamwork, interviewing skills, knowledge of social media, professional image and attire.

All shift times are needed– morning, afternoon and evening. Compensation may be given in school credit or in lunch and transportation.
