Girls Write Now: Writing Works Internship Workshop (Dec. 18)
For more than 20 years, Girls Write Now has been a nationally award-winning leader in arts education and New York’s first and only writing and mentoring organization for girls.
“Writing Works” is Girls Write Now’s college and career readiness program matching young women and gender nonconforming youth with professionals across industries as their “mentors for the day.” Mentees get support with college essays, scholarships, internships, and professional writing across a broad range of industries, including behind-the-scenes experiences with HBO, Penguin Random House, the Royal Bank of Canada, Fresh beauty, and many more.
