2020-21 GIDEST FELLOWSHIPS
FOR RESEARCH AND CREATIVE PRACTICE

GIDEST (The Graduate Institute for Design, Ethnography & Social Thought) invites New School full- and part-time faculty and New School doctoral students to submit applications for resident fellowships for the 2020–2021 academic year.

We welcome applications describing projects based in scholarly and/or other creative practice that further GIDEST’s commitment to empirically grounded cross-disciplinarity and experimentation. Fellows will be based at GIDEST and will develop individual projects in dialogue with the group of GIDEST fellows and visiting seminar guests. We offer six faculty fellowships and five doctoral fellowships.

INFORMATION SESSIONS

  • Faculty information session: Friday, January 24, 11-12pm
  • Doctoral information session: Friday, January 24, 12.30-1.30pm
  • Both sessions will be held in the GIDEST Seminar Room, U411 in the University Center.
