UPDATED 2020 Fine Cuts: Call for Submissions (Deadline Extended)
We have extended the deadline for submissions until April 20th, 2020.
FINE CUTS is a screening series of short films and video works produced by alumni, graduate, undergraduate, and certificate students in the School of Media Studies over the past year as part of their coursework.
How will it work?
1.- A panel of distinguished filmmakers, producers, and artists will select the finalist for the 2020 show.
2.- The selected films will be included on the fabulous new website that we are creating: www.ruffcutsevent. com
3.- The website will be liberated on May 8th, 2020.
4.- Winners will be awarded media goods and services donated by media and tech companies.
5.- Finally, you will have the chance to vote for your favorite film. The winner will receive the “Audience Award.”
How to apply:
1.- We have extended the deadline for submissions until April 20th, 2020.
2.- Please upload your film to (Vimeo or Youtube) and send your film to ruffcuts@newschool.edu with “Fine Cuts Submission” in the subject line.
3.- The maximum length of the films should be 15 minutes.
