Melissa Freidling Just Completed an Artist Residency as a Yaddo Fellow

MELISSA FREIDLING just completed an artist residency as a Yaddo Fellow. Founded in 1900, Yaddo is one of the oldest artist retreats and residency programs in the country, located on a 400-acre estate in Saratoga Springs, New York. Its mission is to nurture the creative process by providing an opportunity for artists to work without interruption in a supportive environment.  Collectively, Yaddo artists have won 77 Pulitzer Prizes, 31 MacArthur Fellowships, 69 National Book Awards, and a Nobel Prize, among countless other honors.
