SMS Faculty Member, Peter Asaro, Gives Talks on the Topics of Ethics, Philosophy, and Killer Robots

Peter Asaro recently gave three talks, “The Consequences of Autonomous Weapons,” Conference on Robots in Arms: Search for a Future Arms Control Regime to Regulate Autonomous Weapons, Evangelische Akademie of Loccum, Germany; “When a Robot Decides Whether You Live or Die,” Night of Philosophy and Ideas, Brooklyn Public Library, New York; and “Killer Robots: Legal and Ethical Implications,” New York Law School, New York. He will deliver “Ethics of Algorithms and Data,” in April 2020 at the Milstein Program in Technology & Humanity, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York
