Re/Lens: Old Glass for New Eye

The Re/Lens workshop focuses on sustainable image-making practices and seeks to breathe new life into optical technologies that are readily available but often dismissed as obsolete. Working with a variety of lenses including c-mount vintage Kern Paillard, Bell & Howell Angenenieux, various CCTV surveillance lenses, and other rummaged glass (participants can bring their own) along with adapters for micro four third mirror-less camera, filters, and contemporary image technologies like app-driven smartphone cameras, Re/Lens will delve into creative explorations of these unlikely syntheses.
