The Vilcek Foundation is now seeking application for the 2021 Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Biomedical Science and Filmmaking.
Three prizes of $50,000 will be awarded in each category to immigrant filmmakers and biomedical researches who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in the early stages of their careers.
Foreign-born biomedical scientists who hold full-time positions with academic or research institutions are invited to apply for a Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise in Biomedical Science. Immigrant filmmakers- including directors, producers, cinematographers, writers, documentarians, and animators – are invited to apply for a Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise in Filmmaking.
Applications will be accepted through June 10, 2020, 5 PM EDT.
