This Week in Cinema Tropical, March 9-16

Join Cinema Tropical tonight at Anthology Film Archives for another installment of their on-going series ‘If You Can Screen It There: Premiering Contemporary Latin American Cinema.‘ This evening they’ll be presenting the U.S. premiere of The Sky of the Centaur by the late Argentine filmmaker Hugo Santiago.

If you haven’t yet seen the Brazilian box office sensation Bacurau, then please join them tomorrow Tuesday night at Film at Lincoln Center for a special Cinema Tropical screening of the film, followed by a conversation with directors Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles and a cocktail reception at the studio adjacent to the theater.
