Internship Opportunity for MS/MA students (Summer 2020)

VIRTUAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM for Students in Media/Advertising/Marketing & PR.

Curated by J. Walter Thompson  former Executive: Keni Thacker who is the founder of 100 Roses from Concrete – An organization of Men of Color in the Ad industry.

The G.R.O.W.T.H.(Giving Real Opportunity With Talent & Heart) Initiative was created by 100 Roses From Concrete founder Keni Thacker, former Program Creator of the J.Walter Thompson (now Wunderman Thompson) Young Commodores program. This new virtual internship will allow a select group of multicultural college students to gain advertising, marketing, media, and public relations experience over eight weeks. The G.I.’s for short will apply the lessons taught by members of 100 Roses From Concrete and special guests to create branding solutions for a real-life non-profit client as they learn to adapt to a new world post the coronavirus. 

Eligibility guidelines

  • Applicants must be in college or recent graduates under 2 years. 
  • Applicants must commit at least two days a week or more and a minimum of fours away to the program. Each session will be two hours. 
  • Applicants must have at least one year of studies in advertising, marketing, media, or public relations. 
  • Applicants should have access to a computer with a camera.
  • All genders are welcome.
