Affinity Recognition Cermonies

The Student Success team has put together a program of Affinity Recognition Ceremonies for students of color as well as LGBTQIAA+ students who would like to participate. A link to the Grad Week microsite is below, along with links to register for specific ceremonies

Please view links below to a series of digital recognition events for students of color and LGBTQIAA+ graduates of the Class of 2020, and view the Celebrate Grad Week 2020 microsite for the full Grad Week 2020 lineup.

  • APID/A Graduation for Asian, Pacific Islander, Desi/ American students (form for submissions listed here, digital yearbook to be ‘revealed’ May 14th)
  • Black Graduation for students who identify as Black and/or the African Diaspora
  • First Gen Graduation for students who are the first in their families to graduate from college (Please click on the video message from the New School Firsts Committee Chair, Racquel Samuel, to learn how to contribute!)
  • Latinx Graduation for students who identify as Latinx
  • Lavender Graduation for students who identify as a part of the LGBTQIAA+ community
  • Taking Up Space: Students of Color Grad Kickback– a celebration of the spaces and people who support New School Students of Color

Graduates and Adult Learners

To apply to any of our Master's, Doctural, Professional Studies Diploma, Graduates Certificate, or Associate's programs, or to apply to the Bachelor's Program for Adult and Transfer Students, complete and submit the New School Online Application.
