Call for Submissions: Evocations Literary & Art Review
Reading period is currently open until August 15, 2020.
For its next issue, Evocations Review is seeking general fiction, poetry, and artwork submissions as well as submissions for a creative nonfiction contest. To submit, please adhere to the full submissions guidelines below. No fee for general submissions. Simultaneous and multiple submissions welcome.
Evocations will consider all work but is particularly interested in: feminism, queer topics, pop-culture, politics, mindfulness, or environmentalism.
For our contest, guest judge Sarah McGlinchey Aronson, MFA is looking for pieces that show the writer’s journey and include reflection, utilize craft techniques such as metaphor, personalization, and repetition, and incorporate characters in addition to the narrator.
