Job Opportunity: Hiring a Jr. Visual / Digital Designer to Join an Edu Reform- + Equity-focused Nonprofit

I’m hiring a part-time Jr. Designer to join my team at Education Design Lab (the Lab), and am hoping you all might be able to help spread the word! We’re in the midst of a brand and website redesign, with lots of projects that could use an emerging designer to take the lead. See below + the attached job description for a bit more info.

Is this you?
You have a passion for reimagining higher education for underserved and underrepresented populations, and you see visual design as a key mechanism in doing so.
You are equity-focused and a strong problem-solver.
You are a high energy organizer who can both keep close track of large and small requests and manage your own projects.

About the Role
We are seeking a part-time (10-20 hours/week) team member to support our small Visual Design + Communications team. As our Jr. Designer, you will have the opportunity to touch on multiple areas of visual design including graphics, data and information, publication, web and digital, and product. We are intent on curating this position to the individual themself (including adjusting title), and look forward to discussing how we can leverage your specific design skill set, while giving you space to grow and feel challenged.

About the Lab
The Education Design Lab is a national nonprofit that designs, tests, and implements unique education models and credentials that address the rapidly changing economy and emerging technology opportunities. The Lab demonstrates where technology, rigor and design can improve opportunities for historically underserved learners to achieve equitable futures.
