Quarantine Film by Taylor-Alexis Gillard, MA Media Studies & Doc Studies ’21, has been selected to be Featured on the Barbican in September 2020. Her film It’s Fine was also featured in the Unprecedented Media showcase at The School of Media Studies.
It’s Fine is a quarantined short that follows Taylor-Alexis’ day at home while coping with a pandemic. Her short film will be featured on Barbican’s series titled ‘Inner States’ this September. ‘Inner States’ will highlight films from around the world that engage internal experiences by using a cinematic language to express that on screen.

Barbican is Europe’s largest multi-arts and conference venue presenting a year-round programme of international art, music, film, theatre, dance and education. It’s Fine, written, directed and produced by Taylor-Alexis, MA Media Studies & Doc Studies ’21 will be screened for free September 11-24 on Barbican’s Video on Demand channel.
