Socially Relevant for Black Voices Film Retrospective August 21-22

The Socially Relevant Film Festival presents a retrospective of films from the past seven editions of SR Film Festival that touch upon Black Lives, and tell Socially Relevant™stories shining the spotlight on race relations, prejudice, injustice, social inequality, yet showing a glimmer of hope with some positive developments.

Seven handpicked documentaries are grouped into four programs screening over two days, Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22. LIVE Meet the Filmmaker talks start on Monday, August 17, and Q&A sessions follow the online film screenings.

Registration for the films and talks is FREE, however, tax-deductible donations are highly appreciated and will be shared with Reel Works and two other Black Lives Matter organizations to help make their voices heard.

SRFF has always advocated positive social change through the power of film. Join us in celebrating Black Voices and Black Lives. The complete program, registration information, and film details may be found here.
