Professor Neyda Martinez Serves as Associate Producer for HABLA NOW, HBO MAX
Media Management associate professor, Neyda Martinez, serving as Associate Producer is part of the team bringing the news and public affairs program HABLA NOW to HBO MAX this fall. Look for the special coming to HBO MAX on Friday, September 18th, 9pm EST.
“The Latino population is incredibly diverse, but it is still burdened by persistent stereotyping that has and continues to be damaging to the community. HABLA NOW creates a space to include Latinos from all walks of life, and lifts their voices and experiences to shine a light on our diversity. We hope this special will spark thoughtful conversations and build bridges of understanding, as we work together to reimagine more just and inclusive spaces in our society. Having worked in the arts, culture, humanities and public media sectors for so long, this project challenged me to lend my expertise and adapt it to a property intended to reach a more pop culture and mainstream audience.
