Call for Applications: Project Fellow, Museum Association of New York

The Museum Association of New York is hiring a two-year, full-time Project Fellow for Building Capacity, Creating Sustainability, Growing Accessibility, one of 68 CARES Act-supported grants awarded last week from the Institute for Museum and Library Services. Over the course of two years MANY will provide hardware, software, and training to 100 museums across the state to develop and deliver virtual programs highlighting cultural and racial diversity in the museums’ communities. The position starts November 1, 2020.
The Fellow will serve as the primary liaison between MANY and the 200 museum professionals participating from the 100 museums. The Fellow will, in collaboration with MANY Staff, support in-person and virtual trainings with the museum partners, as well as bi-monthly one on one virtual meetings with partners to provide feedback and assess program development. If not currently located in the State of New York, the successful candidate must be prepared to relocate to the Capital, Mid-Hudson, or Mohawk Valley region to stay within the confines of our travel budget and meeting schedule. The full posting is available here, and a PDF of the description is attached.
Please share this opportunity widely within your network. Due to the nature of CARES Act grants and the need for rapid project deployment, we are accepting applications until 5 PM on October 16th.
