Alcee Walker’s Project “What’s Going On: The Remake, 20 Years Later” Releases Sunday, 11/1

Alcee H. Walker’s newest project is releasing this Sunday. The project is called “What’s Going On: The Remake, 20 Years Later.” The documentary is based on remaking Marvin Gaye’s song with the same title with 25 different young artists. The original cover was created after 9/11 as a way to bring some hope during such a trivial time. Right now we are going through some hard times again, so they have recreated the song through the lens of COVID and BLM.
You can check out the trailer here.
It will be premiered Sunday, Nov 1st, 2020 at 8 PM EST/5 PM PST in San Francisco. You can also stream online at 76.SFC.TV.
