Diversity in Entertainment Legal Fellowship

Internship Description
Discovery’s Legal Department will offer a fellowship opportunity to a law student from a diverse population that has historically been underrepresented in the legal profession.

Projects will be hands-on and real-world, varying accordingly to the work assignments. As a corporate legal fellow, your adventure could lead you to work on exciting projects and tasks such as:
• Drafting commercial and digital agreements
• Researching novel legal issues relevant to the media industry
• Supporting litigation efforts in a variety of cases, and so much more

Program Details
• Fellow will be virtual, but expected to work East Coast hours and will obtain assignments from across the legal department
• Fellow will be supervised by SVP in Legal
• Fellow will be compensated at a competitive hourly rate for a corporate legal fellowship
• Discovery will also award a $10,000 Stipend to the Fellow

Fellowship Program Dates: June 2, 2021- August 20, 2021, about 30-40 hours of work per week
