Ecological City Climate Solutions – Arts Workshops

February 27th-May 5th, 2021

Wednesdays 6pm-9pm

Saturdays 12pm-4pm

@Sixth Street Community Center – 638 E. 6th St (between Aves B & C)

Participants collaborate with Earth Celebrations’ artists-in-residence to create visual art, puppets and costumes celebrating local sustainability initiatives throughout the community gardens, neighborhood, waterfront on the Lower East Side of New York City. Artworks are presented for culminating for Ecological City. Procession for Climate Solutions.

LIMITED PARTICIPANTS: Due to Covid restrictions they will be offering only limited signups of 7 people per workshop. If you want to commit to all Wednesdays or Saturdays please also email us to prioritize your enrollment – CONTACT: (mail at earthcelebrations.com). All sign ups on Eventbrite are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email as well as have to adapt to changing restrictions. We will be using a combination of indoor and outdoor workshop space with physical distancing, masking requirements and safety precautions.

ARTISTS OPEN CALL – CLIMATE ART

Present and collaborate with community creating artistic works exploring climate resiliency, water and ecological sustainability.

Artistic works are presented in the Ecological City Art and Climate Solutions Pageant bringing together and celebrating climate solution initiatives throughout the community gardens, neighborhood and East River Park waterfront on the Lower East Side of NYC.
