WFA2021 14-DAY FILM CHALLENGE | MAY 18 – JUN 1
Winter Film Awards challenges the film community to create a 4-7 minute short film in just two weeks! Teams of the most creative people in the industry will be randomly assigned a film genre and prop and then have 14-days to decide what you are going to do, write a screenplay, assemble props, costumes and actors, rehearse, shoot, score and edit your film. Students, amateurs, and seasoned industry veterans alike learn the importance of caffeine, team work and time management in successful filmmaking. Awesome cash & equipment prizes!

WFA2021 FILMMAKERS EDUCATION WEEK | JUN 21-25
In continuation of our popular Education series from our annual Festival, Winter Film Awards will host a week of Education sessions geared towards emerging filmmakers, covering topics such as “Ask a Festival Director”, “Producing 101” and more! 90-minute virtual sessions will run each night and will be free and open to all.
