Assistantship Responsibilities and Job Descriptions
Assistantships are available for the following roles:

 

  • Production Course Assistant* (CA)
  • Research Assistant* (RA)
  • Student Assistant Specialist (SAS)

*Course Assistant and Research Assistant positions are a part of the SENS-UAW Local 7902 Student Union. Students who hold one of these positions cannot begin work until they have received an appointment letter confirming that the hiring process is complete.

We do not have any Teaching Assistant (TA) positions in The School of Media Studies.

Course assistantships are currently open for all production classes as listed in the course guide.

Please be sure to refer to the current Course Guide to verify your academic schedule and availability for assistantship class times. Student assistants *cannot* be enrolled in the class, must be available at the time the class meets, and will be expected to attend class every week.
