Filmarket Hub Opens Call for Documentary Projects for Salon Pictures

The Filmarket Hub platform has launched a new PitchToPro call to present documentary films and series in development to Salon Pictures, a BAFTA-nominated studio. The call for submissions will be open until the 26th of May.

Submissions are open for screenwriters and producers from all around the world. The only requirement is that the materials must be in English

The selected projects will be presented via an exclusive online catalogue to Salon in June, followed by virtual one to one meetings with their development team.

About Salon Pictures

Salon’s recent productions include “McQueen” (the 2019 double BAFTA-nominated feature documentary on the life & career of fashion designer Alexander McQueen), “Churchill” (a tense war drama starring Brian Cox and Miranda Richardson, portraying Winston Churchill in the lead up to D-Day), “Stardust” (a moment-in-time drama which chronicles the young David Bowie’s first visit to America in 1971) and “Audrey”, a feature documentary about the life & work of Hollywood and fashion icon Audrey Hepburn, released by Universal Pictures.
