SMS Faculty Melissa Friedling Presents Work on Animating Resistance

SMS Faculty MELISSA FRIEDLING presented the paper, “Touching Teaching: Animating Care and Conjuring Closeness in Contactless Times” at the University Film and Video Association annual meeting in July 2021. She also reflected on the incredible work of students in her spring 2021 School of Media Studies course, Animating Resistance: The Subversive Art of Experimental Animation.
University Film Video Association is one of the premier academic organizations dedicated to the study of media.
