The documentary “Ascension” directed and produced by Jessica Kingdon, MA Media Studies ’14, is on the documentary feature shortlist for this year’s Academy Awards. She recently won the 2021 best documentary feature and the Albert Maysles award for best new documentary director at Tribeca Film Festival.
