Faculty Member Shannon Mattern Presents at MLA Conference, SFMoMA, Carnegie Mellon and Pitt

Faculty member Shannon Mattern was invited to take part in a panel on “Critical Infrastructure Studies” at the Modern Language Association conference in New York on January 6. On January 26, she’ll be joining David Ramsey, founder of one of the largest private map collections, to talk about “The Making of Mapping” at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. And on February 1 and 2 she’ll be talking about her new book at Carnegie Mellon University, then leading a workshop on transdisciplinary teaching at the University of Pittsburgh.
