Seeking Associate Producer for Independent Documentary Film Projects

Associate Producer needed to work part-time with experienced New York City filmmaker on two independent documentary film projects, one in post-production and one in production.
 
Filmmaker Jennifer Callahan has directed and co-produced: The Bungalows of Rockaway (2010) and Everything Is Different Now (2015). Both feature documentaries are available on iTunes, Amazon, Vimeo, Google Play.
 
The Associate Producer will:
-organize and run shoots
-research subjects and relevant subject material
-research music rights
-research funding sources 
-assist with organizing and archiving films’ documents and drives
 
Starts: mid-July
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: about 100 hours of work, through September, with potential for continued work through fall 2018
 
Candidates should:
– be hard-working, organized, and conscientious
– be experienced with managing schedules
– have excellent communication skills – writing, listening, speaking
– have good research skills
– be comfortable with if not active on social media
– be excellent at meeting deadlines
– be able to work independently
– live in New York City
– ideally be interested in teenagers and mental health; and in fashion/women’s daily lives
– have a positive personality; be easy to be around
