As part of the Communication Department, the Video and Design Intern will assist with all aspects of conceiving, shooting, and editing full-length videos and video clips for YouTube and social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). She or he will actively collaborate in implementing new video-related ideas that bring our mission to life in the digital sphere and intended to showcase our programs and French culture in general.

The Video and Design Intern will also assist with creating and modifying documents in InDesign, including but not limited to event invitations and project reports.

We are a small team with a significant amount of creative freedom and are entering a phase of experimentation with both our social media and video platforms. This means that the right candidate would have an excellent opportunity to exercise her/his creativity every day during the course of this internship.

Desired Profile:
Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college studying communications or a film-related field.
Strong knowledge of iMovie, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Ease with meeting tight deadlines.
Knowledge of and enthusiasm about French culture.
Strong English written and oral communication skills.
Extremely organized and detail oriented.
Enthusiasm for social media and knowledge of nuances of platforms are a plus.
Eager to with work with a team and collaborate.
Intermediate or advanced French language skills.
Punctuality and commitment to the full duration of the internship are essential.
Internship Terms:
Internships are non-paid positions, although school credit can be arranged.
Duration: 6 months, 20 hours per week
