Job Opportunity: Marketing Assistant, Public Programs at The New School

The Public Programs department at The New School is seeking a Marketing Assistant. The Public Programs Marketing Assistant will work directly with the Manager, Public Programs Marketing to execute projects that raise the profile of the university’s public programs, expand the impact of event content, and engage existing and attract new audiences. The Marketing  & Communications department provides strategic insight, creative expertise and marketing-related deliverables to a variety of initiatives across the university.

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual looking to gain experience in strategic messaging, communications, marketing, and/or social media in a fast-paced, collaborative marketing department.

They are looking for a current undergraduate/graduate student who is organized, with great people/customer service skills, excellent writing skills, and the ability to process, synthesize and communicate information quickly, clearly, and effectively.
