Submissions for the IFP Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film

The IFP Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film has officially opened its doors for the 2019-2020 application season. The Fellowship was started 11 years ago with Marcie Bloom, the former Co-President and Co-Founder of Sony Pictures Classics, at its center. It serves graduating students, who are interested in working in the New York independent film community.

The fellowship is an intimate and unique program that helps four fellows a year find their niche within the New York film industry. The chosen fellows meet once a month with Marcie and a guest at her Upper West Side apartment. Past guests have included Patricia Clarkson, Sara Murphy, Anthony Bregman, Elvis Mitchell, Marielle Heller, Christine Vachon, Nicholas Britell, Bennett Miller and many other wonderful NYC producers, directors, writers and leaders within NYC film.
