Survivor’s Song – Interdisciplinary Arts Experience, May 4
Survivor’s Song is an interdisciplinary arts experience sponsored by The New School University’s Student Senate and Pura’s House.
Produced by Lynette Elouise, this event will combine the realms of fashion, visual art (painting and photography), documentary film and music. The audience will be able to experience great art produced by and about African Diasporic voices (with focuses in West African , Haitian and Afro-Latina cultures). A free brunch and mocktails will be served while we discuss the importance of diverse representation across all art forms as well as modes of independent distribution.
