Dasha Kova, Media Studies + Media Management Certificate ’17 and Media Studies Student Service Award Winner ’17, featured in Bushwick Daily
Dasha Kova, Media Studies + Media Management Certificate ’17 and Media Studies Student Service Award Winner ’17, was recently featured in Bushwick Daily for the work she’s doing that is aimed at changing mainstream media.
She also had the opportunity to produce a music video for Salt Cathedral. During the production, she was able to put together an entire team of women to build and collaborate with. This video has been recognized by both Remezcla and Bust Magazine since its release.
Salt Cathedral are an NYC based duo, originally from Bogota, Colombia that draw on the sounds of NYC and traditional Colombian music. Salt Cathedral is known for their distinctive look and fashion they feature in their performances and videos. The song, “Go and Get It,” which features Big Freedia and Jarina De Marco has been released, and has already received press from Paper Magazine and Nylon Magazine.
