SVA’s After School Special Screenings Return Sept. 18

Featuring some of School of Visual Arts’ most accomplished film, TV, animation, and visual effects alumni, the After School Special festival runs Sept. 18-22 at the SVA Theatre, with screenings, premieres of new work, and behind-the-scenes looks at cinema and television hits and classics (including Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, above). All events are free and will feature special Q&As with industry insiders. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here for the full schedule and list of participants.

Want an inside track to the best events for aspiring media and communications professionals? The Center for Communication is seeking interns to help out behind the scenes and support program staff during our events (like the one we did with Rami Malek and Sam Esmail, above, from Mr. Robot!). We’re looking for candidates who can commit to a minimum of six evening events for the semester.
