Latino Media Fest 2020 – Emerging Content Creators Scholarship Application

The ECC Scholarship is open to students, recent graduates, and emerging content creators who are interested in working towards careers in entertainment and media. Recipients of this scholarship will receive a pass to the 2020 Latino Media Fest and will be invited to participate in the Emerging Content Creators Workshop in which industry professionals share their experience and advice for getting ahead, all to be held virtually. Selected participants will be given a curated itinerary to attend panels and workshops throughout the days of the event (October 14-16, 2020). As part of the scholarship pass, they must make themselves available for the entirety of the Latino Media Fest.

NALIP’s Latino Media Fest celebrates the convergence of storytelling, technology and media, championing Latinx talent. It is the unique presenter of the best U.S. based Latinx content across media platforms: Narrative Shorts, TV/Streaming Pilots, Digital/Web Series, Virtual Reality, and Documentary Shorts. Within the shifting entertainment industry, we seek to encourage and facilitate the proactive engagement of Latinx creators. Ultimately, we aim to bridge connections within the entertainment industry and Latinx community to broaden the reach of inclusive narratives. Together, with you, #WeAreInclusion.
