SMS Student Anna Gedal’s Short Documentary Film “Dreamland” Was Selected for Coney Island Film Festival

Anna Gedal’s, MA Media Studies ’21, short documentary film, “Dreamland,” exploring the rise and fall of the eponymous early-20th-century Coney Island amusement park was selected for the Coney Island Film Festival, which runs September 22 – October 7, 2020. She’ll be joining a live Q&A on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 9pm.
“Dreamland” was developed in Amir Husak’s Documentary Practice & Emerging Media course in the Spring of 2020. It was previously featured in the School of Media Studies’ Mixed Messages showcase here.
